Tan divertidos como ácidos o críticos, The Vapors resultó un grupo británico de la new wave que duró poco pero que dejó verdaderos sencillos para el recuerdo. Su primer trabajo es obra obligada. Editado en 1980, y con las posibles guerras nucleares rondando sobre las cabezas de la humanidad, ellos titulan su LP cual guiño al extraño momento vivido aquellos días como New Clear Days. La pronunciación de “new clear” en inglés es igual que la de la palabra “nuclear”.
